Preparing for motherhood and parenthood, is all way a new phase of life and a lot of guidance is required to do so especially in case of nuclear family and first timer. From eating during pregnancy to feeding your baby, child birthing education takes it all into consideration. Childbirth educators are specially trained professionals who educate and guide you through various important aspects of pregnancy and childbirth with an evidence-based information, like comfort measures, pain management during labor, delivery positions, birth options, latching techniques, breast feeding and baby care. Childbirth educators play an important role in the emotional, physical, and informational support for expectant parents
Why should we get prepared for childbirth education in advance?
- Labour is not the right time when you want to be coached on delivering a baby within OT by a medical team, who hardly know you.
- Therefore, CBE sessions are aimed to prepare you in advance by training on how to deal with labour pains, build your confidence to deliver a baby naturally, build bond with your partner, address your myths, queries and apprehensions about labour and childbirth.
- Child birthing education has always proved to lower tension and anxiety during labor.
